2016 OIAAA STATE CONFERENCE ANOTHER HUGE SUCCESS

The Columbus Easton Hilton was once again the site for the OIAAA in hosting their annual state conference. This year’s conference was the 60th Ohio conference and was, as has been the case the past five years, another record-setting event. Over 350 Ohio athletic administrators attended this year conference which broke previous attendance marks.

Additionally, the Annual Vendor and Exhibitor Show was a sell-out for the fourth straight year with over 60 vendors sharing information and best practices with our attendees. With over 30 additional vendors on the “waiting list”, the OIAAA will look at ways to expand exhibitor booth spaces for the 2017 conference.

A special thanks goes out the Southeast District of the OIAAA for handling this year’s event. Rick Guimond, Mark Rose and Tony Williams organized and led the SEOIAAA through the administration of the conference which was flawless.

There was a wide range of presentations and keynote speakers during the three days of the conference and feedback from attendees reflect the high-quality of professional development offered during the event.
